Women of Africa, please listen up with pride.
Who ever said that beauty has a standard,
has never seen an African Violet in full bloom.
Our palms may not be soft and smooth
as whipped butter but they testify to our
daily labour of love for our own and others.
Our hair may not be long, silky or wavy
but these kinky curls frame faces that were
surely constructed with extra loving care.

The Bible describes the Fall of Man as when God kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden for disobedience by eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Ever since, man and woman have been on a spiritual quest to get back to Eden.
Eden, that state of being completely naked and free, the spiritual high we had in the beginning. This is the ultimate goal for all our actions and the reason why we live.
The motivation for any act is love and real love can be defined as when we are willing to extend one's self for one's or another's emotional, mental and spiritual growth. Real love is not the same as the feeling of falling in love. Real love is an act of will; falling in love is a feeling. Real love lasts; falling in love does not. Real love comes from our inner spirit, or God, or our Spiritual Higher Power. The feeling of falling in love comes from our baser sexual instincts or dependent needs. But the feeling of love can grow into real love.

Master’s fiancé is one of those girls that do not know what they have until they lose them. She barked like a dog at every little thing that Master did. Even when Master had to stay out late in the night, because he sat at the bar with his friends to drink beer, she grabbed his mobile phone off his hand, and smashed it against the glass table at the center of the living room. She never said sorry for what she did. The next morning, after she had smashed Master’s phone, she insisted that Master needed to apologize to her for staying out with his friends. She threatened to throw pebbles at the plasma TV screen that hung on the wall, if Master uttered no word before she counted five from one. She was at number 6 when Master said he was sorry. He even called her Baby, held her right arm; the one that held the pebbles, and drew her close to his chest. Master kissed her on the forehead, and told her that he loved her. She hugged Master around his loins, and never said a word. She never said she was sorry too, at least, for hitting Master’s phone on the center table. She never apologized for shattering the center table, and leaving the glass pieces all over the floor for me to gather them later. She only held Master by the hand, and led him into the bedroom.

Go into the world and give them a good impression Clean away the marks of rejection Stop giving yourselves a bad image over vanity possession Be renewed and show the world the determination Represent a new Africa with a new generation After all we have got outstanding values and tradition We are the blessed offsprings filled with unbroken ambition Full of unfailing inspiration Now we use words and not wars for communication After all we have dreams that can't face interrogation All we seek for Africa is promotion For every child seek we education To kill in our youths fraudulent passion And stop giving the world tension
